Introduction

Underleaf is a tiny, easy to learn, forest floor inspired set collection game for two players.

Players take turns collecting beetles, berries and mushrooms to create the highest scoring collections. Forage the right cards to score perfect pairs and use abilities to snatch up the goods before your opponent!

Underleaf is designed to be quick to learn and easy to play in 20 minutes - perfect for your next coffee date, camping trip or chill afternoon! Every card in Underleaf is hand illustrated by me (Laura, Frog Tree) and features over 15 unique, real life species and scientific names!

Gameplay Overview

Players take alternating turns, buying cards and selling cards, until the Leaf Deck is empty at which point players score their collections.

• When the Leaf Deck is empty, the player who’s turn it is finishes their turn. Then, each player has one more turn to only buy cards.
• The player with the highest score wins!

Setup

Both players start with 5 Pebbles. Place the rest of the Pebbles within reach.

Shuffle all of the Leaf cards together and place it face down, this is the Leaf Deck. Choose a player to go first, or each roll a die and the player with the highest roll goes first.
